We can divide the Instructional Technology (IT) into two definitions which are device and process. IT is the process that the teaching and learning go through it to achieve specific objectives. It is the operation of designing, applying, and evaluating the process of teaching and learning using different devices. There is relation between IT and teaching aids, teaching aids (tools, materials and devices and locations) is part of the instructional technology. Teaching aids in instructional technology represents the largest area. It supports Instructional technology.
But some confused between the concepts of teaching aids and instructional technology .The difference between them is very large. Instructional technology is the most comprehensive and broadly. Instructional technology field is a wider field of teaching aids, and expands the field of instructional technology to include the field of teaching aids. Teaching aids (smaller area) sub-system belong to the system of Instructional technology College (larger area), and does not refer to the fact that the two concepts are closely linked, but are interrelated in the entire systemic context.
